i attempt to do this by sipping a fancy pants espresso (the cup has it’s own mustache) with my pinky in the air, while i wave my monocle like i just don’t care.
this has yet to be proven to be actually effective.

You might want to give something like sculptris a go http://www.pixologic.com/sculptris/ it’s a free little sculpting program that is really easy to pick up, and there’s a nice bunch of tutorial videos alongside it to get you started.
